Richard Mullings

Richard is a private client lawyer and is the sixth member and fifth generation to run his family firm in Cirencester.  Richard qualified in 1976.

Over the years he has developed expertise in a wide variety of issues for private individuals, executors, trustees and charities. Much of his work is concerned with estate and capital tax planning; he has regularly advised Names at Lloyds and executors of their estates, particularly at the time of Reconstruction and Renewal.

Richard advises many charitable organisations within the community on a wide variety of legal and financial issues including governance and management. He was for some years a school governor.

He was a founder member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and was Clerk to a division of the General Commissioners of Taxes for more than 25 years.
