Roger spent most of his childhood in the Malmesbury area and his first full time job was for the Wiltshire Magistrates Courts Service, working on administration for Motorway and Youth Court cases.
Roger trained at a firm based in Gloucestershire and qualified as a solicitor in 2003. He has remained in the Cotswolds throughout his career, specialising in property work, both residential and commercial.
He joined Sewell Mullings Logie in January 2016. He is not related to the Head of Property, David Bird.
Roger enjoys swimming, cinema and trips to the RSC in Stratford upon Avon. He likes to travel when possible and has a particular affection for summertime in the Swiss Alps.
Area of Expertise
- Residential property work (as an Accredited Member of the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme) including sales and purchases of houses and leasehold flats, transfers of part, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, lease extensions and option agreements;
- Commercial property work, including acquisitions of freehold land and preparing leases for properties such as shops, offices and business units.
