Examples of our experience

Equine contract disputes

We have had a number of cases where clients have sold or purchased horses and subsequently disputes arise whereby the purchaser is not happy with the horse and wants it returned and his/her money refunded. Where possible, the Equine Team try to settle the disputes, without the need for Court Proceedings.

Starting an equine business

We have recently drafted terms and conditions of business for a keen equestrian who wanted to start a business finding suitable horses for clients. It was important for her to limit her liability in the event that the horses that she found for her clients ultimately were not suitable. This involved drafting bespoke terms and conditions of business for both her website and for her to enter into with her clients.
